Sancerre La Reine Blanche 2004

Lovely Sancerre, bought from The Wine Society (www.thewinesociety.com) full of gooseberry and grassy flavours and not too minerally or flinty like some Sancerre can be - there was also a touch of marzipan on the nose - not bad at all whilst not setting my world on fire. I must apologise if I'm not particularly expressive today - it's been a bad week and it's got a bit worse and I feel like packing the whole thing in today so it's hardly surprising if my blog isn't up to much!
